Coinbase Calculation

Here’s something I thought about this week. As at 18/04/21 Coinbase has a market cap of 63 bil, a turnover in FY20 of 1.14 bil and a profit in FY20 of 0.3 bil.

Lets take a deeper look, Coinbase have approximately 56 mil users with 6.1 mil active users per month (11% of users are active). If we annualise the active users (6.1x12=56mil) and then divide their revenue by their users to find revenue per user thats (1,141/56 = $16 of revenue per user per year).
